Golden Patriot Mining Inc. to Change its Name to Hana Mining Ltd.

| | TORONTO, ONTARIO - Effective Thursday, March 1, 2007, Golden Patriot Mining Inc.(TSX VENTURE:GPM) will change its name to Hana Mining Ltd. and will start trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "HMG".
In connection with the name change, each current share certificate evidencing common shares of the Company will continue to evidence common shares of Hana Mining Ltd. without further action by shareholders. No consolidation of capital occurred in connection with the name change. The new CUSIP number for the common shares of Hana Mining Ltd. will be 409639101.
