Hana Mining Confirms Significant Copper-Silver Mineralization at Ghanzi, Botswana

Vancouver -- November 15, 2007 -- Hana Mining Ltd. (TSX-V: HMG) is pleased to announce results from the first three holes of an ongoing 10,000-meter diamond drilling program at its sediment-hosted Ghanzi Copper-Silver Project in Botswana, Africa. Results confirm the presence of significant copper and silver mineralization on the property.

"The results from these initial three holes are very encouraging," said Peter Wilson, President of Hana Mining. "We are particularly excited that early indications show the silver mineralization at Ghanzi may be of a higher grade and more consistent than reported from previous drilling conducted on the property."

The three holes were collared in the H-I grid area of the property, where historical records show 27 RC and 11 diamond drill holes were completed along a 1.5-kilometer-long mineralized zone. Results highlights are included in the following table:

The current drill program is designed to infill coverage of the H-I grid and test the strike extension to the southwest. As well, strike and dip continuity at several promising outlying targets will be tested. There are 140 kilometers of cumulative strike length within the project area with a number of mineralized areas identified in past drilling on the property by Anglo American.

A total of 15 holes have been drilled to date in this ongoing program. Results from the 12 additional holes are pending and will be reported as they are received and compiled.

Quality Assurance/Quality Control

Hana has implemented an industry standard QA/QC program. Drill core is logged, split by sawing and sampled at site. Samples are bagged, labeled, sealed and packed in sealed containers and shipped to ALS Chemex laboratories in Johannesburg, South Africa. Standards and blanks are inserted into the sample stream. The entire sample is crushed to better than 70% at -2mm, and 250 grams is split off to better than 85% passing 75 microns. Samples are analyzed for 48 elements by HF-HNO3-HClO4 acid digestion and HCl leach followed by ICP-AES and ICP-MS analysis. Overlimits are analyzed by four acid digestion. Non-sulphide copper is determined by sulfuric acid leach and atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS). Au is determined either by fire assay and AAS finish or along with Pt, Pd and Au by fire assay and ICP-AES finish using a 30 g sample.

Analysis of total copper and non-sulphide copper will better determine the extent of the oxide, transition and sulphide mineralization at the H-I area and will assist in the economic evaluation of the zone.

Drilling is being carried out by Major Drilling (Botswana) (Pty) Ltd. using a Longyear 44 drill rig.
